[hometext] => Another poem in the chain to Ginsdance
[bodytext] => To every storm there must come an end, A place where the seas return to calm. It is this time that you are in, Looking for peace to grace your palm. Unable to give you the stability you need, I sit along the shore and observe Hoping for a moment to see You find the anchor that you deserve. My eyes scan the waves, And my heart monitors the clouds, For as a sister my soul you saved, Failing you is not an option now. Ignorance is a pitiful excuse, So to my crime none compare, The signs I saw I refused, Now this sin I must repair. Forgiveness is something that must be earned, And is something I may never attain, But know this, if e’er again one must be burned, For you, my sister, it is I who will feel the flames... -Andrew Albertson [comments] => 1 [counter] => 113 [topic] => 43 [informant] => chicken [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => oops )
