Feelings of a rich warm glow

pantomimes,Cinderella, scrooge again
without them Christmas is not the same

Tucking the kids up in bed
saying Santa s coming on his sledge
going to bed tired and yawning,
kids waking me at at three in the morning

Falling asleep after huge Christmas dinner
wishing before Christmas I tried to get thinner
all these things mean Christmas to me
without them what would Christmas be?

What does Christmas mean to me?
Holly, decorations and Christmas tree
chestnuts cooking on a big log fire
church bells ringing and the choir

Feelings of a rich warm glow
excited children praying for snow
pantomimes,Cinderella, scrooge again
without them Christmas is not the same
