It felt as if my heart was flopping around on the ground.
I wondered if you still love me.
For the truth I could not see.
Then you said “I still love you”
Yes what would you like to do?
My heart did a back flip.
And sailed into the sunset like a graceful ship.
At first light I boarded a plane.
Yes for I had so much to gain.
Far away waiting for me was my true love.
All I could do was bow down and thank God above.
For it was the longest time.
And I had paid for my crime.
Now I have peace.
And on life I have a new lease.

Things were looking very down.
It felt as if my heart was flopping around on the ground.
I wondered if you still love me.
