Misery
Is it my destiny?
It is for me
Such agony

Today sadness and my life
Are In perfect harmony
Fused together
In matrimony

As Depression wakes
Happiness sleeps o so peacefully
Days of feeling not good enough
And transparency

Knowing fighting with emotions
Is a dictatorship not diplomacy
Not realizing the person who is
At fault is me

The person feeling sad
is me
Me is the person letting people
get to me

Me is the one crying
For me just to be
Me is not acting like me

Pain
Misery
Is it my destiny?
No not for ME!

habits are hard to break, make sure to say positive things on purpose, until it becomes a habit. Things like "its beautiful out here" or think about the things you love. Habit is what really creates happiness.

I loved how this poem ended. It would have been easy to end it on a sad note, but you managed to pull out a strong, hopeful ending and I respect that a lot. There's nothing harder than having someone that's close to us begin bringing us down and causing us pain. Hope you find a way out of your sadness and find happiness!

Love this poem! It is difficult at times to be mindful that I am responsible for how I feel. And it feels so liberating when you can choose to shift an uncomfortable feeling into a comfortable one. Thanks for sharing this!
