Hi,

A dark and violent storyline. I like how you've
given it a jaunty touch. Almost nursery-rhyme.

Nice one.

my thoughts on this off the cuff, say I'm speaking to this without any preparation and answering to wicker, what I know of the meaning of the word, sounds like weaving, hard plantlike material into a basket, or possibly a chair for sitting.
Wicker could be a fabric of society, or an ancient epoch held up to unknowing eyes, misused like a scarecrow to fool all those crows.

The crows on the other hand are actually incredibly loyal and likewise resourceful given what they might actually have to work with.
You ever hear them squawk and connect, ever see them dive and dart in a protective manner just to protect a yearling tossing about on the ground? They know the yearling can't yet fly.

Nice Poem! It's really good.

Peace!

I agree with spud. It is almost like a nursery-rhym. Its dark and a little creepy, and feels like your going to tell wicker man's story.
