whatever you choose to be
Whatever the choice
your reasoning I will try to see

Loyal I am
when it comes to a friend
Just do not hurt me
or bring our friendship to an end

When a friend needs me
I always try to be there at their time of despair
Never looking or hoping for anything
from my friend to return or share

Although there are times in life
when I am down in the dumps too
Having lost all hope and energy
it’s my time of despair, making no request to you

I may be caught up
in what I call the circle of hell
Really down in life
it makes me want to sometimes scream or yell

Somehow in this life
I have gained strength beyond belief
It is a strength that I have
that keeps me going in times of grief

So you may choose
to be my enemy or my friend
A decision only you can make
but your feelings you have to send

A loving person I am
honest and true to the heart
Being loyal to our friendship
once it has a start

A very deep person
I am with much feeling and care
Even with people I don’t know
friendly feelings and energy I always try to share

Love for my friends
comes dear from my heart
But if you misjudge me and disrespect me
from our friendship I may surely depart

This action of losing a friend
is not taken so easy by me
I will try to be there for you
even if you, not for me.
