Fire's Scream`

Drop this up and raise it down,
Turning this world round and round,
No one there to hear the sound,
Of this city burning to the ground.
I can hear the fire's scream,
Eating away at my self-esteem,
Destruction of the most extreme,
Erasing everything it would seem.
What once was a happy memory,
Now feeding the misery,
Of a life made beastly,
And shadowed bloodily.

I like the contrast in this, its always hard trying to keep the artistry juices flowing but you did it in this poem quite nicely |
