Looking out the window
Vanilla skies and soda ocean
With icebergs floating like ice cubes

Sun burning up vitamin C
Candy tears, sweet, like lemon drops
Your plastic eyes are glossy
Like the shine of the chocolate glaze

You made heart shaped cookies
Who were you going to give those to?
You stored them in your ribcage
And burned the cookies to the crisp.

Chocolate Parfait
The warm wind melted my brain
I'm drowning in the orange rain
Dizzy sweet, the swirling pattern
of the peppermint.

You were feeling sad yesterday
Looking out the window
Vanilla skies and soda ocean

Because of your incredible knack for great imagery, I found myself thinking of Peter Max and his paintings.

Also porcelain dolls came to mind.

Oh, and I sorta want a snack too.

But there was also a sort of sadness when the heart shaped cookies burned and the drowning thing.

The power of words can be awesome and you definitely have a power for words.

Thank you for an enjoyable read.

Like it. Vivid imaging, and a quite unique style
in comparing emotions to taste and smell.

How refreshing to read love poetry that is so
far removed from overwhelming cliches and twee.
