the earth turns around it with the light breaking the plain
There are not many clouds in the sky
It’s looking like no chance of rain

The air feeling cool
fresh with the morning breeze
Amazing how the seasons change
the spring’s pollen makes me sneeze

A cup of coffee
soon setting on my table
Maybe a slice of toast or two
if I can only stop sneezing and I’m able

Breakfast is down
coffee tasted really great
Time to clean the house
I need to finish it before eight

The kid’s lunches are packed
now they are outside waiting for the bus
This is my time for cleaning
now that is a plus

It’s after eight
the cleaning has been done
Now it is my time
to go out and relax and catch some sun

Oh I love warm weather
especially on days like today
I only wish it could stay like this
and never go away

The day has passed
the sun a blessing to us all
Before we know it
it will be summer then comes fall

I have enjoyed this day
taking in the sun by each and every ray
Evening has come
time for this day to go away

Watching out the window
as the sun sets in the western sky
At times it’s a breathtaking view
that I cannot deny

Darkness is about to cover us
as the sunlight falls out of sight
It is now time to end this poem
and time to say good night
