The folly of our forefathers and the songs that they sung.
Just games in the park when the law comes around.
Pushing there view, building new walls.
Time comes a calling when those walls come to fall.

The thing about past lives in the freshness of it all.
The wonders are the same but the taste is bitter sweet.
It must give it away.
I mean I must give it all away.

Someone once told me a lie is much better swallowed with a caravan load of distraction to match.
Is the elections winning for you?
Is these letters on the screen blinding you from the truth,
what really is the truth.
I've walked so blind I'm really looking, really looking...

The thing about past lives is that life can become a little sweet.
Mashing together until you see the light of day.

I enjoyed the rhyme scheme in this. In the first two stanzas especially. This was a very interesting read.

I really like this. It's a wonderful question really, just asking what it is, what is the truth... The truth, we share it one way or the other, even if we don't know what it really is.

We should look harder and find in so many ways how much we are the same. WE need to give truth away freely.
It doesn't have to be any argument, the truth of it says.

Thanks a lot! It was easy to read because it was non-threatening, just real - a real poem.

Peace!
