[time] => 2012-08-22 05:39:20 [hometext] => The imagination is a much more effective medium than visual spoon feeding when trying to create an atmosphere of fear. [bodytext] => What drives the mind to terror?, the image of the perpetrator or the darkness

Of the shadows in which he may lurk? Where is the fear in the tangible when

Imagination can fan the flames with the introduction of touch, a hand

Caressing the rail as our minds create the monster that ascends.Frozen!

An injection of fear coursing

through the veins in response to the hot stale breath and

Recognisable sound of a creature about to devour, a voice, the last minute

Warning of the recognition of impending demise. The dilemma which gives no choice

But to face death and know that this time you cannot win. The unexpected that plays with

the edginess of uncertainty and jars such that you smile with the relief that it’s not real.

Don’t give me the detail when you can fire my imagination by rationing the visual, enliven my senses with music and

sound, and leave my mind to reward the box office,

By me scaring myself senseless. For I am the epicentre of my own terror so in the creative

Zoo please do not feed.

Hi Anna,

Such dark imaginings!! You MUST get to see
more comedy, Anna - and when that wears
off, excite us again with another frightnight
horror, filled with terrible superlatives and
wild adventures.

Spooky ....... but nice.

Tommy

Hi Anna,

In my last comment, meant to say ....
''with terror-filled superlatives'' and not
'terrible superlatives.'

Oops .........
