Answer a question... devoid of reason,
telling a tale...for truth or for treason?

truth lies straight ahead... a treacherous path,
let fly in the wind...this sand that you grasp,

the past is not here... no future... no fate,
come revel in life... or watch time lay waste,

to decisive decision and artistic vision,
to break free of ties... impeccably driven,

Hide behind walls... and watch as they fall,
fight for belief... and clamor truth's call.

Look at the sky... and to the blue sea,
look for the choices... that you'll never see,

Answer a question... devoid of reason,
telling a tale...for truth or for treason?

So very true!!
Walls do protect us from the unknown out there in the big wide world and too often we seek the safety of the known.
It is all about being brave enough to take those steps.
