From final conversations with him, I feel sure this is what he would have liked to have said to his family. [bodytext] => From the depths of my heart I love you,
and you knew that the bell would toll;
that I'd hear my name when the angel came,
and you cried for my tortured soul.

My darlings, how gracious is bounty;
what jewels it bestowed upon me.
But temptations thrived so the spirit died
and my tears a forsaken plea.

You're the treasure of all my days,
you're the gifts and the joy from living.
You're the laurels I weave
you're the breath that I breathe
in the garden of Truth and Forgiving.

I just think this is awesome that you wrote this poem for him from his perspective.

You serve him a great honor!

Very touched and very moved by the heart and sensitivity with which these gifted words are given.

A beautiful, richly worded "requiem" for the lost.

another gem in the midst of glass, Spudly.

I think this lovely poem speaks volumes, I'm quite sure
He would be proud and honored with the beautiful words
You have spoken on his behalf. I was moved
Thank you for sharing
