such a dream
and i love, i truly do
how you make my heart beat
and you create
the world through my eyes seem
so beautiful and sweet
and my worries wash away
to a reality where the demons
are never allowed to stay,

all night i lay awake
and read through pages of those
who have suffered the same
fate
whose minds disconnect from truth and

they spill their stories onto pages
that keep my mind safe through these
stages
in safety blankets where i can hide from the
conversations through the walls
and footsteps down the halls
the words in the stories keep me calm
and i just want to see some cherry
red blood spilling down my
pale arms
for no other reason but it seems to
listen to those strange things my mind
tells me to do

an escape from the sea of nerves that
greet me on those mornings
the butterflies wings cut deep into my stomach
lining.
and without them i feel free
and i can be anything

i'm close to God, i'm his spiritual saviour
strawberries and wine have a strange new
amazing flavor
my stomach aches for days of not being fed
but there is no appetite, no longing
and no need in my head

theres shooting stars falling from the
corners of my eyes
and i hear my clock tick over for every
hour i stay awake all night
until the harshness
of morning light
and the voice in my head that reminds me I
have a life
and it seems a shame to take my medicine
and destroy this natural high
because it helps me live through the
torment
that is my
normal life.
