For everyday I wonder if,
You will ever step into my arms.
And passionately love me with all your charms.

Or am I on a distant shore,
Where daily I wish for very much more,
Than you are willing to ever give,
Even though my heart is where you live?

My heart I wear outside my vest.
And your name is tattooed on my chest.
So I must walk a very fine line,
As I reach for you most all the time.

I stand there searching across the sea,
And listen carefully to hear you calling me.
But I only hear the crashing waves,
Upon the cliffs each and every day.

But I’ll not leave or walk away,
In case you call my name someday.
And standing like a sentry tall,
I’ll call your name till you return my call!

I walk the ledge upon the cliffs.
For everyday I wonder if,
You will ever step into my arms.
And passionately love me with all your charms.

I love this one Rob...beautifully written and heartfelt. I've been finding it hard to keep track of all the poetry but I'm trying to catch up.
