[hometext] => It's been a very long time since I put something on here...and that's because I gave up writing poetry a week after I wrote this poem. I just didn't have it in me anymore and I got tired of trying to convince myself that I still did
[bodytext] => In the beginning Sometimes I left messages in the street Hoping someone would walk upon inspiring grounds I was 13, still learning That for me the world wasn't meant Words all covered in dirty shoeprints... I left messages in the street Tryna create my own walk of fame But after my words became concrete Hollywood is one place I'll never see my name So I buried my pen alonside them Never to write again But 4 years later things changed... Momma sent from Heaven Every dead lyric I've ever written on her 47th birthday She said...
