Without Words

Contributed by kailas on Tuesday, 19th June 2012 @ 06:57:29 PM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

I'd like to think
they fill the holes
and all the gaps
of all poor souls.
Amazing things words conjure
Beautiful things
greatness galore.
But without words the fire dies
A breaking heart
of silent cries.
And endless tears
for many fears
Words can't console.
A hard life I've been toughing
And without words
I would be nothing.

They are nice, are they not? I liked this and it's great that you can express yourself.

Thank you for an enjoyable read.

An excelent bit of work. I know I'd be nothing without the power of words.

This poem speaks for a lot of people who felt like this particular art was the answer to dealing with everyday struggles in life, such as myself. #Salute

"words are the means to meaning, and for those who will listen, the enunciation of truth"

one of my favorite quotes :)

Words will always hold power because they will always hold emotion, logic, and beauty within their grasp. Some people use that power for beauty, some to obtain more power, some for persuasion, and some are completely clueless. :p
