Array ( [sid] => 172967 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => The Machine [time] => 2012-06-12 06:07:11 [hometext] => This is a poem i wrote today about media instutions and governments which I feel are corrupt. Hope you enjoy, feel free to leave a note. [bodytext] => Beauty, a wonderful thing some would say,
natural, organic, a warm summer day,
but beauty does come in more than one form,
the masses aspire to allign with the norm,

Airbrushed, touched up, is all the young know,
so how much compassion are we expected to show,
to those whom the box has shown us to hate,
to shun, abuse and to slander their weight.

It is in fact the machine that is ugly,
conglomarate owners sleep tightly, so snugly,
let's take up arms and bang down their doors,
we have do have power, deep down in our cores,

It is them who have made us feel so weak and so feeble,
now its time to inject them with a sharp poisoned needle,
but the masses are blind, content with contempt,
governments and institutions from laws are exempt,

The rich make the rules that we all have to follow,
we believe what they say because our minds are all hollow,
we don't care about an innocent child dead in Iraq,
because they told us the best form of defence is attack,

Defending ourselves from what you may ask,
nuclear weapons used as a mask,
Whilst western governments basque in their oil,
thousands of people lay dead under the soil,

People i cry, just like you and I,
have watched bombs fall, drop from the sky,
kill all their families and they cant understand,
why it was them who were born in this unscrupulous land,

So to hell with David Cameron and William Hague,
who spread this disease, this contemptious plague,
If i had the power to end it believe me I would,
but the West will soon drown, in its own sea of blood. Well said.
'tis true that our governments main aim is to destroy true love and enslave humanity. The media is merely their propaganda machine designed to brainwash the ignorant and the gullible into acceptance without question. I would reccomend that, anybody who considers themselves intelligent, google Vigilant Citizen, David Icke, Henry Makow, Jeff Rense, Les Visible, Alex Jones and Truthseeker. To name but a few alternative sources of the truth.
We need more poets like you. Poets who are willing to stand up and be counted.
This is the year we will be known through our deeds.
Keep up the good work my friend.
