Our voices echo, told to be quiet but we keep going.
Bored of this same land, we disrupt further
On a hill of concrete we stand.
Proud we are, spreading the news with our words.

A figure I see on the continuing hill
looking up I stare, unable to move, standing so still
I see her pass to a house unknown
Recognition to them strangers to me
When they walked past, I looked up carefully.

My eyes hypnotized not wandering away
A new kind of blue is looking this way
Only a glimpse before I grow shy
Looking once more for her brown fair hair.
faces me then careleslly, staring from there.

I redden and look away once more then think
"A look once more won't hurt" and in a blink
A hypnotization transformed into paralysation
Pure eyes connecting. my mind is empty
A skip, a heartbeat, a smile, hers so pretty.

Once more her hair appears greeting me farewell
Gone she is and feelings are hidden, I shall not tell
My heart is still racing an extroadinary amount
At the end of the day in bed, I fantasize
Of me and her, without the good byes.

Never forget that faithful day sent from above
When I first experienced my first true love. [comments] => 0 [counter] => 60 [topic] => 2 [informant] => Maygee [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LovePoetry )

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
