in a world, oh so strange.
To be the only human
in fights he'd engage.
For a sword he had gained
A warrior he became.
His blade and soul both stained
till all creatures feared his name.
Companions he found
together unitied.
A bond had been bound
their purpose been stated.
To destroy all evil
that crosses their path.
A warrior with intent to kill
a vendor with an unusual hat.
A wizard who's wise with age
a heroine with beauty of gold.
A black pegasus freed from his cage
all lived a story worthly told.
When all was succeeding
the bright future near.
He found himself kneeling
and a friend's voice to hear.
The ground of cement
buildings formed a city.
He ran his hand along the pavement,
couldn't believe reality.
He couldn't believe
convinced it was real.
Starting to grieve
and left to feel.
Confused but determined
because he just knew,
he had not dreamed
and that it was true.
For months he went
and kept on trying,
with complete intent
to find his darling.
He searched far and wide
but with no real success.
He started to side
with an idea of an imagined godess.
But then without warning
he found a a strange hatted man,
one sudden morning.
And they set up plan
to act as brothers
and reunite once again.
To find the others
as wise men.
It wasn't long
till they came across
a wise old man still strong.
The group still contained loss
of a mighty horse
that they wondered if they'd find.
They followed their faithed course
and stumbled across a stable declined.
Inside they found a horse of black
it stood on it's mighty legs
He gave a nod and they nodded back.
They finally had back their Pegs
but still missing was the most
important of all of them.
In his memory as faint as a ghost
he needed to find her, his precious gem.
Without her it would be meaningless
A hole inside him would remain empty
It caused great distress
as she was no where to see.
It went on for months some more
and he was about to lose all hope.
Sadness to the core
unsure if he'd cope.
And on one fated day
without a try
without a say
she passed him by.
His heart it beamed
his soul refined
and like he dreamed
she gave a smile.
They stuck together
faithed from above
meant for eachother
bounded by love.
