Twisting clusters of thick grey clouds through it's swift fluorescent trail
An Illuminous white, snaked a broken image toward disappearing endless
Where life vanishes from the distance of our minds to become a mystery

Bellows began to roar through crevices, trees and shrubs tossed in the wind
Hovering clouds slowly moved, as they crept, the depth of darkness deepened
Shadows flaunted long silhouettes in ghosly fashion beneath the cloud's cloak
An atmospheric phenomenon mesmerize the scene with a taunting display

I watched the terror absorb the day, turning clouds as dark as charcoal
Pulling and tugging their shapes into a violent tumult of wild and wicked rage
Lightning shook the sky while bolts of ligthning fiercely charged downward
And the earth, for a fleeting second, did halt amidst this advantageous force

Thunder exploded afar in the distance, hurls of vibration swept through the air
Distorting the present haunt by ligthning's onslaught upon heaven's beauty
Night became a vehement before night had yet to begin it's designated reign
Over stars glistening in mystical places seen from realms beyond our reach

I gazed upon ligthning's flare of amusing behavior indulge a tyrannical affair
Of disasterous proportion, like a warmonger asserting the fullness of strength
Currents of action fueled by nature's energy interpret ligthning's devastation
This wonder unfolding above all things living defies order, rebukes normality

Perhaps, nuptials between lighning and forever defiant rivals, hides openly
Within an unseen barrier possessing secrets my imagination fails to define.
Is this a mating dance? A form of courtship? A serenade spawned by confilct?
Possibly, unity exist between the opposite attractions displaying such vigor.
