here i sit, finally the real me
not the little girl, who set us free
for years love was not an option for me
because the little girl felt it wasnt meant to be
I'm not mad or angry any more, about the past
I'm j ust glad to be free and in some peace at last
thats not to say i never felt the desire for a man
but love and a relatinship was not in the plan
i could not truly give him what he needed from me
I could not be the woman he would need me to be
a warm body in need of affection giving way to his charms
not a woman wanting to truly lay in his arms
for me sex was the name of the game
no strings, no lies, no blame
but now that i am free of the past and the little girl that shielded me
love is now an option that i see
i am not the same woman set on being alone
those feelings are all gone
all i know is everything happens when it's suppose to
and i am open to all things new
i dont just want the love of any man
i want the man that is in my lifes plan
the one that God will send to me
and i pray he opens my eyes to see
the man, that he sent to be apart of my destiny

Simply beautiful, I mean that.
You write so passionatley
I always sensed it, but in this passage
it cut deep.
Touched my soul.
