[title] => A Daydream At The Lake
[time] => 2012-06-04 04:32:49
[hometext] => A woman is sitting by a lake, alone. Then without thinking of it, she was throwing stones to the lake. Many concentric lines, like radio waves, formed at the lake and she dreamed being taken by those circles (as if they were radio waves).
[bodytext] => As if for amusement’s sake She was throwing stones instinctively And in amazement she saw immediately Many concentric circles filling the lake As she was gazing at the circles’ make She felt the power of radio waves instantly Carrying her so speedily On a travelling spree with no break Then when the water stood quiet and smooth Her image was still there telling her the truth That she hadn’t gone to any faraway places Overwhelmed she was by great sadness For not having had the chance to access New landscapes, new emotions, new faces Helder Oliveira (Helder de Jesus Ferreira de Oliveira) - Written in Xangongo, Kunene Province, Angola, in November 2009 - [comments] => 2 [counter] => 161 [topic] => 14 [informant] => Magnet12 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DreamsandWishes )
