Just Call Me Herald
Just call me herald
Poetaster of the before
Prophet of the play’s
history of the thing,
And the fall of cities into war.
A man that shovels
words of fimble winter spring,
of old north winds and ruined walls of alabaster.
Just call me poetaster,
Herald of the neverafter

You have introduced me to a new word poetaster I don't like the word so.I hope this is tongue in cheek as i have read it to be as the second to last verse is an example of true expressive poetry for which I could see and feel every bit of what was being expressed with great imagery |
