[title] => Ocean's Call

[hometext] => My little brother wrote this last night about his love for surfing.
[bodytext] => I can hear the ocean calling my name. It excites me to be upon the sea. Some think it’s a folly or just a game, But it means so much more than that to me. I can hear the sound of the waves splashing. The sun is gleaming and I feel its love. Imagine a horse finally dashing, Or the flapping soft wings of a spring dove. The looming swells are loud and boisterous. I plunge deep in the cold waters ahead. Rising to the surface, I find solace. My surf board almost feels just like my bed. I catch a wave and feel the powerful tug, Finally I proclaim, “I am unplugged!” [comments] => 1 [counter] => 117 [topic] => 27 [informant] => nluchett [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => NaturePoetry )
