A molten blast of shocking lies... begs love to depart,

Thick black smoke within my mind... no light within this dark,
Watch me smother hope with fear... and sink love's sacred ark,

Fist to ground and teeth to bone... a vengeance yet unleashed,
watch me taint this hallowed ground... and watch my dead self weep,

Grabbing virtue by the throat... I strip him to the bone,
Holding back a storm of tears... I sit upon his throne,

Raging in this madness pure... such chaos... sheer delight,
I will slip inside your mind...for some things... you can't fight,

Nature comes and nature goes... but me... I will remain,
look into these broken eyes... and bow to me in shame,

I'll rip the earth... and bend the night... and lash you to my will,
There will be no end to pain...for you... I'll never kill. i like the passion of this one. sometimes you've got to let those around you know you just won't take it anymore. if you dont they'll always walk over you. good fences make good neigbors.. good fences with spikes and razor wire. lol

Exceptional!!! Passion in poetry is moot, unless you are able
to convey it to your reader. And here, you have done so with
aplomb! This is FILLED with unforgiving rage and it makes no
apologies! I love it!!

I'm not sure I've ever unleashed that beast but I have been enraged before. The one in this poem is frightening. (hides & shudders) wink A very powerful poem indeed!
