Backstabbing Friend

Contributed by crossmyheartwithaknife on Thursday, 8th May 2003 @ 08:05:00 AM in AEST
Topic: AngryPoetry

It's really hard,
to be friends with you,
after all the *****,
you've put me through.
How do I know,
if I can trust you?
You've broken the trust,
too many times.
I'm really starting to get sick,
of all of these lies.
I've had some great times,
hanging out with you.
But now I don't know what to do.
You will never understand,
how you've betrayed me,
or how much pain,
you have caused me.
You've stabbed me in the back,
so many times.
All of the knives,
went straight through my heart.
Has the trust been broken apart,
for the last time?
Or will this happen again sometime?
If you truely were my friend,
you wouldn't want my life to end.
You wouldn't want to hurt me,
but you keep stabbing me.
Stabbing me in the back,
with all of these knives,
and i'm not sure how much longer,
I will be able to survive.

My opinion is that everyone deserves a second chance (unless they have done something REALLY basd like murder or rape) but if they keep stabbing you in the back, cut them loose. They are not worth it and you don't need the stress. Great poem.
