Rebirth of the Rose

Contributed by thehotshotpoet on Monday, 30th April 2012 @ 06:27:22 PM in AEST
Topic: Tributes

A Rose has a beauty
in the form that it takes
the Petals come together
creating the awesome look it makes

although it isn't Magical
I have to think like this
The Rain makes it grow
The sun gives it beauty simply with a kiss

They do not last forever
although I believe that they try
but for a new Rose to take its place
The Rose must wilt & die

That would be the power
& the beauty from within
one must give up it's life
for the new life to begin

They really are so beautiful
with each & every pose
so no matter what the form is
it is still a Rose
the hot shot poet
