Six blackened wing flew above the evergreen
A coarse hoax were the hoarse croaks
These harbingers of a dark dream be
From the frosty North appeared suddenly

Circling high above slumbering sight
The omens finger pointing left then right
Middle earth's forge paused its breathe
As six blackened wings lit upon the bellhouse .

Dang .....Dang......Dang

Feathers transform into flesh and bones
Now walking down empty streets alone
I take the backstreets turning knobs
Of unlocked doors - half opened doors

Windows open, curtains flapping,
Blinds a swaying , music playing -
"I HEAR THE TICKING OF THE CLOCK-
AND I WAS GONNA TELL YOU TONIGHT"

Feathers formed once more as I
Seized by an unseen hand was I
Led through the dreamworld sky was I -
"TILL NOW ALWAYS GOT BY ON MY OWN"

The unseen hand gave voice and spoke
See them gath'red round the graven oak
Do not go there...go there...do not
I opened my eyes it was 4:30 AM

My radio alarm clock was playing "Alone" by Heart.

The words wicked cool came to mind.
The ending really twisted I really like this.
It is well written, flowed well and reached out and grabbed me! Whewwwwww
