[hometext] => This is a poem about a bike ride I did to Bournemouth from Southampton at 3am.
[bodytext] => We rode like kings, but our treasure was the achievement made. We rode towards the light, as we would not be left in the shade. Through darkness we travelled, through the rain we prevailed. Bournemouth and back we went, and the heights we scaled. The golden sand was the glorious reward we were handed. For fighting through when we tired, so we weren’t left stranded. The pictures were the proof, the miles became nothing. In comparison to what we have proved, we could bring. Now as we look at back at what we did, we can smile. Knowing for sure that we did it, we hit that 60 mile.
