Mother I love you
And I know you love me
I feel your smile
Tho your face I cannot see
~~~~~~~~~~~ [bodytext] => Mothers Day
This weekend we’ll celebrate
Another mothers day
There’ll be songs and poems
Full of good things to say
But my mother has passed on
She now lives within my heart
Still loving and encouraging
As if we’re not apart
I still hear her voice
Urging me to do my best
To face every obstacle
Let God do the rest
I feel the power of her faith
The warmth of her smile
The strength of her spirit
The heart without guile
I feel the flash of her anger
The gentle touch of her grace
I see her in everything
All but her face
Yes a mother is forever
In our hearts to stay
And this weekend mom and I
Will celebrate her day
