children know no dicipline,
women are sold,
inocent ones are taken and killed,
while killers are surviving off theiving skills,
it's dog eat dog,
a repulcing game,
the good is blurred by fog,
our world in a forever state of change,
most of us live with a raging fear,
because we know within seconds danger could appear,
children molested,
women beat and raped,
people with brains live with caution for their sakes,
there is no safe zone,
no place without evil,
look out on this cruel world,
not caring about it's peril,
there is no such thing as peace on earth,
to everyday people "world hunger" is just a verse,
we can't stop this madness,
it's insanity at it's best,
it doesn't help matters when we keep anger in our chest's, [comments] => 2 [counter] => 113 [topic] => 32 [informant] => braveheart [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => SadPoetry )

The world is a harsh place. So many horrible things, but also so many great. This reminds me of a poem i wrote when i first started writing called "Trying to stop a mountain." The world is harsh and to survive it, you must be strong.

A poem that is all to true. Perhaps the evil of the world out weighs that which is good. However , there is still some good. Some good ideas and some good people. They are accosted at every turn of course but nevertheless one can maintain peace and happiness in their life by being very careful about what and who they invite into it. Nothing is certain but be prepared and you will survive most things. Bad things will always happen but happiness is a choice , not a condition. Though some of us can't stop worrying about and trying to change this world we have to remember to take it easy and never let things disturb us to deeply. Why let the hell of this world make our lives hell as well. You can't pull the world out of the mud if your own car is stuck. Keep up the good writing , truly , doug
