I felt my life had been attacked
with one small wrong move
I fell & broke my back
I had no clue to what had happened
there was no pain just sooth
then suddenly I realized
my legs would'nt move
the Doctors they did surgery
said I'd be a brand new man
fortunetly they were wrong
it's part of why I am who I am
18 months in a wheelchair
they said my chance was very thin
there were some miner errors
you might never walk again
my heart fell to my feet
what had this happened for
I lost my will to live
this life I wanted no more
it took my childrens faith in me
the love they have within
I thank God for their persistance
like you I walk again
my life is mostly normal
I run & play all the time
with my children & their belief in me
my life is back to mine

Yes children can always bring us out of our darkness because they are pure souls that have not yet been desensitized by constant thinking like adults..be it worry, fear, anxiety

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
