I will love you oh my darling
Till this poet runs out of rhyme.
Till the stars up in the heavens
Have lost their twinkle and shine.

Till you can walk across the oceans,
And Mount Everest has lost it’s peak.
I shall love you oh my darling,
More than a lamb could love her sheep.

And sweeter than any valentine
Sent with chocolate and much love.
Till all rose petals have lost perfume
And angels call from above.

Longer than all Earth’s chronometers
After loosing all ticks and chimes.
Then on into eternity,
I’ll love you just because you’re mine!

Perhaps I'm wrong , I've not seen the movie , but is the picture a reference to said movie From Here to Eternity? I'll have to watch that sometime. Anyways great write. Full of great sentiment and who can resist. Off to read the 2nd now. yours, Doug
