Array ( [sid] => 171707 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Become the Fire [time] => 2012-04-04 18:58:46 [hometext] => A poem about a mysterious beauty. This took me a while to write. I'm still not sure if it is complete. [bodytext] => Floating in the pouring rain...it cannot bring her down,
she walks upon cascading rain... and wears it like a gown,
She lives within the burning sun and radiates its warmth,
upon a cloudy sky she walks... her pathway made of thorns,

when she walks through forest glade... a whisper starts to form,
the trees begin to sing her song... true beauty so forlorn,
Upon the crest of waves she walks... to revel in their wake,
and when she's gone... the oceans cry... and the earth begins to quake,

the heart forgets its loyal beat... whenever she draws near,
she looks into the hearts of men... for which she sheds a tear,
it breaks upon the barren ground... a tempest starts to grow,
a sadness in her deep blue eyes... her heart begins to glow...

She jumps into the raging storm... and dances deep within,
don't look back.... she says to me... just let the storm begin,
looking deep... i saw her there... glowing like a spark,
and when i tried to pull her free... she fled into the dark,

and when i jumped into the black... i found her world inside,
so far away from everything... a place where lovers hide,
and so the storm began anew... with fire and with rain,
she danced in light... she danced in dark... and said they were the same,

a spark within the hottest flames... she burns like true desire,
For you can never catch a flame... you must become the fire.
