Have you ever heard this said before?
"I'd do it different if I could.
If I could do things over again,
I'd change my life, oh yes I would."

Some think that it's a foolish thing
To believe in an eternal after life.
That it is an incredibly foolish notion,
Of a Creative Grandeur up in the sky.

That Heaven is a spontaneous fairy tale.
And as for Hell their is no way,
That a loving God who cradles us all,
Would send some of us there someday.

But I believe in the living God,
Who will someday judge us all.
Just saying you don't believe in Him,
Leaves your heart closed off and small.

Don't criticize if you don't believe
Or try to take my faith away,
By saying science holds all life's answers,
Is a very foolish thing to say.

Look at hearts of men cradled our on Earth.
And the conditions in which we live.
Can't you see evil people surrounding you,
And think Hell won’t merge with them?

If I lived my life in believing,
How has that fact hurt you so?
What have I lost by owning my choices,
Loving all that you can't know?

Some resemble the story Fantasia,
On a lily covered balcony.
Merging and enhancing their own beliefs
Which will damn them for eternity.

If I died true to my principles,
And you lived to party more,
What are you taking with you,
To your hot and blistery shore?

Had I to do it all over again,
I would not change a thing.
I know I am heading to Heaven,
Where choirs of angels sing.

I am a true believer, and I think that this is breathtakingly beautiful. I love it so. Wish I could have written this one, lol. My poetry tends to be more dark than anything these days. Emotional me lol. Anyways, I would do mine over again if I could. Make things better, serve the Lord better. I havne't been the best person in life, and that is the one thing that i wish i could change most of all. And scientists aren't always right; there has been obvious proof to those of us who look for it. Please keep the beautiful poems coming. Love, Sheryl

By the way, just want you to know how much you have truly inspired me. I almost lost my faith today, and I think that it was fate that made me read your beautiful and inspiring poem. God made sure that I read this. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, and my our Lord above be with you always. Love, blessings, Sheryl. To God be the Glory!!!!
