Array ( [sid] => 171681 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => The Innocence of a Girl [time] => 2012-04-03 15:00:59 [hometext] => Everyday a girl is hurt and even abused. These tragedies leave harsh memories and broken families. Here is a story of a girl, with all the innocence in the world. [bodytext] => Laughing with a careless smile
That smile ever so divine
The heart of a girl, strong and pure
How could anyone tear down,
the beauty of that smile?

Fun all the time
With that one mischievous smile,
For her devious deeds.
Even so,
Her heart shines with innocence
The love surrounds her,
Unbroken and cherished by all.

But, the smile is now broken.
Shattered to pieces, left to drift away.
No smile can appear on her face,
that once radiant face,
Of a girl so innocent and pure.
How could he swipe all her trust,
And even her last bit of innocence?

Feeling lost and broken, she wanders
Longing for the joys once had.
Her world has been shattered.
With nowhere to go, or even,
a place to call her home.
With no one to cal family,
She is alone, abandoned, and forgotten.

He was the man, who tore it all apart.
He swiped all of the dreams of a girl.
Pure with the beauty of her innocence.
How could this be?
Well lets see...

A man with the power and no soul,
Came to be the reaper of her soul.
The laughter and life sucked out.
To a cold, forbidden place.

For they once laughed together.
Shared a connection like none other.
But he was the man,
Who took it all away.

Trying to forget, can only be imagined.
The fears creep along.
Fears of being unloved and never free.
She wanders out alone,
As he hovers above her every step.

He has the control,
of every step she takes,
and all that is dear,
to a girl so pure.
So she is alone, and broken.

How can anyone hurt a girl?
Leave her to suffer?
While the man lives on?
Can someone glue back the pieces?
Of her now shattered soul?

For all is lost, and he has won.
No regrets or sorrow to show.
Here she lies, unable to speak.
She has tried so hard.
But with no prevail.
To fake that once,
beautiful smile.

The pain too real.
So here lies a child so young,
Once beautiful
And pure. [comments] => 2 [counter] => 206 [topic] => 61 [informant] => ShaeBay [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => selfstruggles )

Such a sad, heartful piece, But it was beautifully pieced together.
