[hometext] => This poem is the WATER poem in a group of sonnets.....others are.......FIRE......WIND.......EARTH
[bodytext] => The Water of Life The roar of rivulets as rain transforms, the feel of streams in tumbles down my face a bareefoot walk in puddles after storms are but a gush of thanks for God's good grace. As raindrops fall in splats upon the roof and run in gutters down where plants will grow, they sound like marching reindeers on the hoof or pebbles tossed to windows by a beau. Yet when the earth soaks out an arid thirst and frogs croak hymns throughout the misty night the lilacs bloom before the tulips burst with perfume calls to honey bees' delight. How fresh the air when storm clouds bathe the earth and butterflies make colored playful mirth.
