(A BIBLICAL BASED SERIES)

My very last adventure
Was still quite fresh in my mind.
I'd never gone two days in a row,
And my machine was working fine.

I thought it time to give it a try
To test it's home built quality.
The blueprints I used were simply great.
I wondered who left them for me.

The key now in the ignition.
The throttle was now in my hand.
I took my foot off the brake,
And I'm off to a long ago land.

The sign at town's end said Bethlehem.
This place was no mystery to me.
I saw the star we sing about.
The night was just so serene.

I heard the cry of a baby.
People were gathered about.
I saw a beautiful young mother,
And I felt a need to shout.

But I held my tongue while people kneeled
I found I was on my knees too.
I heard a voice saying "This is My Son,
Now what are you going to do?"

"I said I'm going to tell others
When I get back to my own time."
The voice replied "that's what you should do,
And you should do it all the time!"

So here I am doing that right now,
Bringing this message of hope to you.
You can decide what to do with this story.
Now tell me what will you do? [comments] => 1 [counter] => 125 [topic] => 31 [informant] => robert_edgar_burns [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => StoryPoetry )
