The clouds are heavy and grey.
There's a smell in the air,of tomorrow
Cause a year, will be ending today.

We look back as our memory fades,
Like hot air that was blown at a window,
There is fear, regret, humiliation...
They have filled our cup to the brink.

What is time if we follow it backwards,
But a needless and numbing distraction.
Lets make use of our light while its shinning
While the flame is still hot and secured
look ahead, where the future is hiding
And your doubts and despair will be cured.

With a resolute mind we shell march,
To destiny's field with a cry,
We are free and we will not cower,
Our future we'll grasp with our hands.
Our well of misfortune is finally dry.
As the minute draws closer its seething,
Emotion is swelling inside,
As the clock hits the mark birds start cheering,
hands, uncontrollably clapping, the joy is released all at once!
There is dance in the streets! There is lightning from heaven!
There are clashes of wine and stomping of feet!
There is laughter and shouting and breathtaking silence and
fireworks lighting the sky!
May the waves of eternity swallow us whole but
admit it's a great time to be living!
Take a fresh tug of air and shout so you're heard,
I'm alive, I am happy and I'll never stop loving
and I wish you a happy new year!
