it's a shame he can't be here to see
the smile upon my face brought with our memories
i think, well, now he's sleeping over there across the sea
his may be closed, but he opened my eyes
and i thank my lucky stars i knew his love
forever in the heart of me
forever he'll be a part of me

~*~

i sit here with mellow candles burning
many nights like this i sat here yearning
now my life his love i must forgo
i don't care my hearts all aglow
love for him has simply overflowed
still in my mind i hear him saying,"whoa!"
where he snores is way northeast above me
and i wonder; does he still love me?
i am his once forever ladylove,

~*~

still falling where last i loved...

With embers still burning
He dreams with heart still yearning
Remembering how it use to be
When two hearts were free

Love is everlasting
Tho flames to embers may be
Wistfully he remembers your smile
Each time you touch in memory
~~~~~~~~~~~
Your poem is excellent maam.
Northeast may be right
But to snore in the night ?
An almost romantic write.
Seriously,
I know that this is written from the bottom of your heart and i wish the direction of your words was more to the south west.
