[bodytext] => Take your Tern and find some fern And look in fielded hay. Red Robins don’t like Scarecrows, They scare the prey away. The Bluebird sings of happiness And Woody is such a pecker. The Seagulls leave their presents While I’m outside playing checkers. A pea brain’s not a bird brain, And it never sheds it’s feathers. But most birds fly to Florida, To escape cold and snowy weather. My bushes hide a mother Duck, That friend is not a Goose. It’s chicks are going peep peep peep, And sometimes they run loose. The Hummingbird flaps it’s wings so fast While drinking juice from flowers. Why don’t I ever catch them out In windy times with showers? The Parakeets fill the trees up full With a thousand friends or more. And I have seen them darken the sky Over land toward distant shores. I dedicate this poem here now To a friend all know as Marvin. He loves his birds and lets us know The Lord feeds them so they’re not starving.
