My tears aren’t though
Maybe its compensating for my own
I am sad to the point of utter depression
the tower, that I built, has fallen
as swift as it was built, it has crashed upon my head
leaving my mind broken and battered
if only you could understand my pain
but you cannot
because your mind is elsewhere
physically your not even here
emotionally detached from my heart
mentally connected through a thin twine
a single tap can break it
why have we come to this?
I lose sleep over a single thought
“Do you honestly care about me?”

You lack the confidence/self esteem
I lack the words to say...

Its raining really hard
My tears aren’t though

Depressing thought is a spiral. Try to escape it, and once you have, look at the cause of it. Try to remember what it was like without the person you are with. That should give you perspective and help you decide what your next actions might be. :)

Yes it makes sense, you are pouring out your anguish and venting your frustration.
We all have different ways of doing it, poetry is often mine too.
