My constraints miss plagues my ego.
Torrent malaise of alcohol’s saccharine stench lights my eyes
A taunt thread to hang hope.
My snake hand fingers the glass.
The serpent usurps his tail scales polished
by surrenders regret.
Stagnant guilt pours over the harpies’ voices.
Crossed faith, fingers hidden, one black step too far
pairs crushed hope, resolves no knotted heart.
Weep light for dark weep dark for light.
Sing heaven for hell sing hell for heaven.
Chaste thy heart, innocence is thy balance.
