[title] => WIDOW'S WALK
[time] => 2012-03-03 13:07:03
[hometext] => I wrote this one this morning... Enjoy...
[bodytext] => it was a dark day back in seventy-three when cloud bursts and lightening were both set free her love was out on the most torrent of seas fighting waves and to keep the helm at ease she kept a vigilant watch from her widow's walk as rumors did spread, as the locals did talk for they had never seen a vessel return from such storm but they could see her pace, and watch her sad form her heart was heavy as she tread that small ground while she went on silently, without even a sound her head was spinning like that lost ship's wheel doom for her love was all she could feel this was the darkest day of eighteen seventy-three and death was hungry for a feast in the sea the havoc raged on, all throughout that bleak night not to clear until the early morning light where the new day found the lovelorn soul still holding the railing, still playing her tragic role that ill fated vessel never again did appear answering her deepest worry, and her deepest fear 'twas one hundred years ago when this devil's night came with its angry winds, and its most ferocious rain and to this day can be seen a ghost to stalk as she continues to haunt her poor widow's walk...
