Why don’t I understand how I feel?
I have everything anyone could ever dream of,
I have a home,
A family, friends
Yet, I still don’t feel happy
What’s wrong with me?
I want to be excited over idiocies
I want to feel like anybody else my age
I want to be normal
I don’t want to be a freak of nature
Pretending is all I know how to do
I pretended all my life
I’ve put on a mask to hide myself
So if you see me on the streets, don’t be fooled
I’m nothing close to typical teenage girls
Evil thoughts keep trying to claw their way out
Suicidal thoughts are a habit by now almost like breathing
I don’t know what to do
What should I do?
What’s wrong with me?

A heartfelt honest write of seeking answers about so many things. There
is nothing wrong with you. Everyone, especially teens all ask these same questions, but hide it from others. You want to know what made the difference for me as a teen? When I was seeking answers I found this advice changed my life. It said "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and mind and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your path. I hope you put this to
the test to know joy in your life. Blessings, Rob
