Still life sucks, in every way
Trying to find some redeeming grace
Keep getting run over in this daily race

Thought I had it all worked out
Knew exactly what my life was about
My heart has been dealt a crushing blow
His words dug deep into my soul

The one I love with no end in sight
Flooded my reality with senseless blight
He revealed his secret little doubts
He's not sure what my love is about

He fears I'll leave, his love forsaken
Has hidden questions he's never spoken
I'm left to wonder where this came from
I thought he knew he was my only one

By his side I've been and will always be
Loving him is all consuming for me
There is no future I can ever envision
Without him in my heart, one, no division

He swears he loves me more than life
Why he fell for me, made me his wife
It's my turn to make it crystal clear
He has absolutely nothing to fear

Even with tears falling in a crying song
I'll make him understand he's wrong
My love for him knows no boundaries or end
Together forever, my lover, husband, friend [comments] => 2 [counter] => 114 [topic] => 48 [informant] => dvtpdw [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => EmotionalPoetry )

Insecurity is a sign of immaturity. Some men
never grow up and some just take longer
than most. Hopefully time will take care of
this problem. Girls mature waaaaaaay much
faster than boys and are ready for commitment
much sooner. To find a mature grounded and
confident male is a very hard thing to do. But
love waits, and overcomes these insecurities.
It is the gift God placed into the hearts of all
women, the mothering instinct, even when the
child is a man! I understand we are kind of
neighbors here in FL, but on two coasts. Thank
you neighbor for all your sweet comments on
my poems. Blessings, Rob
