And not let anyone else tell them otherwise. [bodytext] => "I am Something"

I wake every morning feeling lonely and unwanted.
These feelings I cannot shake not ever once.
I am constantly reminded of my past just being haunted.
Not ever once being told I mattered.
Never being help nor supported
Being told I was useless and having my dreams shattered.
Don't know where I am going!
Don't know what to do!
The same loneliness and unwantedness day by day.
Can't run from these emotions!
Can't run from the pain!
Everyday when I think there's some hope.
It gets crushed by the reminder of my existance.
Just feeling like death will make it all better.
But death never makes anyone feel better.
I can no longer be silence in this world!
I can no longer be a ghost to the world!
A sudden realization that I do matter.
A sudden reminder that my dreams and hopes cannot be shattered.
Understanding I was telling myself that I was useless.
Telling myself that I was not wanted.
I am worth something!
I am wanted!
Slowly and surely I realized my potential.
Which made me start to shake & tremble.
The knowledge I thought I hadn't acquired.
The people were amazed and admired.
They did not know what to say!
They did not know what to do!
I was different, I felt different, I am different.
I was reborned from my sudden realization.
The realization that I could become something, that I can be wanted.
It helped me, it supported me, it gave me hope.
I no longer felt lonely and unwanted.
I no longer was useless.
I no longer was helpless.
I am no longer that person.
It was a new day!
I am a new person, a better person, an important person.
A person worth something. [comments] => 4 [counter] => 153 [topic] => 48 [informant] => Kielthone [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => EmotionalPoetry )

"I am Something"

I wake every morning feeling lonely and unwanted.
These feelings I cannot shake not ever once.
I am constantly reminded of my past just being haunted.
Not ever once being told I mattered.

I can no longer be a ghost to the world!
A sudden realization that I do matter.
A sudden reminder that my dreams and hopes cannot be shattered.
Understanding I was telling myself that I was useless.

Thank you for sharing this. I really enjoyed reading it. These feelings come and go and are a daily struggle I have faced in my past couple of years, and this was very motivating.
Great Write,

Brenda
