The Chosen Soul

Contributed by bmjones0555 on Monday, 20th February 2012 @ 07:27:49 PM in AEST
Topic: selfstruggles

With one strike from a needle
The pain is gone, as my body relieves the stress
God has now faded, Satin now awakens
My life becomes a crazy mess

Hate flows through my body, like a chill from a northern breeze
My soul is now mistaken
My heart begins to weaken
Satin is all my eyes can see

The bars have now locked me in
From the world and I set alone
Praying to God, please help me
I’ll change let me come home

Months go by, still no answer
I’m struck again with life’s test
Cancer now comes, body begins to weaken
My life is just a wasted mess

I say Jesus come to me
Come to me and brighten my soul
Walk with me side by side
With God’s road made with gold

My ears have now enlighten me
For God’s voice has now spoken
Do no wrong, do all right
And your soul shall be chosen

God flew through my veins
Like a raggin river threw the hills
Hate begins to leave my soul
As love and faith begin to fill

Once again I’m struck again
A tragedy with a ragging test
I lost my dad, my dearest friend
My emotions now a ragging mess

I didn’t turn, turn to wrong
All I did was begin to write
Write about our dear good lord
How the world is so bright

Bright with God’s touch of love
Touch of love in your heart
Do no wrong, do all right
Let your life begin to start

Phone calls begin to ring
As letters reached my mail
They say I see our lord, family, and friends
Not the firing gates of hell

I see a strong rich in life
Money is not what I see
My rich in life, my chosen path
Is God’s words spoken through me

Very well presentedl poem, revealing the battle of the soul in the stages of tests and the soul's victory.
Even Mother Theresa had harsh battles to go through
Hail to the victor!
