Terrible stench, oh
How you intrigue!
Escape that prisonous
Basket, flow, crawl
Entertain every naked bit of
Superfluous space, until not a
Thing but filthy fabric is seen! Oh,
Love, in a pile on the floor, you seal the deal for
Intimate exploration, watching proudly as passionate lovers
Fly into provinces of ecstasy. A volcano of secrets, with
Each and every mysterious odor and sloppy stain,
Illustrating all that is
Sweat, proof of laboriousness and life.
Oh, sweet, unkempt guardian,
Never relenting to breed and wander
Duteously, mournfully
I must now give up and
Return you in a mighty heap
To that overbearing washer.

You truly have a way with words. How smart and I really liked it. Will never look at laundry the same way again. Great write. Thank you for sharing. |
